Festivals, football, conferences and outdoor screenings all hang on the same few minutes: getting the right people in, keeping prohibited items out, and moving a crowd when the plan changes. That work is licensed. It is also how you prepare for Martyn’s Law enhanced-tier events (typically 800+ with entry checks).
Build the plan before you hire the bodies
Occupancy, ingress rate, search policy, accessible routes, ejection, medical, and who talks to the crowd. Then map supervisors to gates. We have run this logic on city-centre events in London, Manchester and Birmingham, stadium calendars in Glasgow and Cardiff, waterfront events in Liverpool and Bristol, and conference centres in Edinburgh, Belfast and Hull.
Stewards vs door supervisors vs close protection
Stewarding a seated stand is not the same as searching a festival bag. Close protection for a visiting principal is a different licence again. Tell us the activity, not just “security”. We will not mix badges to make a price look cheap.
After the last encore
Incidents, refusals and medical handovers should exist as a pack the same night. Promoters and local authorities in Leeds, Newcastle, Nottingham and Southampton increasingly ask for it. Our portal exports PDF reports rather than a stack of carbon books.
